At a time when students are transitioning into a new academic journey, a strong and positive first impression plays a vital role in shaping their sense of belonging and connection to the university. Recognizing this, The VGU Book Fair 2025 will be held during Orientation Week – designed not only to promote reading culture, but also to position the Library as an inclusive, vibrant, and student-centered space.
Get ready to level up your uni experience! The VGU Book Fair 2025 is coming to the VGU Library ground floor from September 9 – 11, 2025 during Orientation Week! The event will include:
📚 Book display and exchange: Books from different publishers and wide range of topic coverage. A hub for book exchange, re-purchase, and re-use for sustainability practices.
✨ Book Fair Opening: 11:45am – 12:20pm, Wednesday, 10 Sept 2025
📚Library Showcase: Bringing Library Resources and Services closer to our users and students.
🎪 Mini Market: With the participation of local bookstores and shops, participants have a chance to grab books, stationery, exclusive merchandise, and unique handicrafts—all at amazing prices, discounts and gifts.
🎤 Talkshow 11 Sept, 10am-12pm by an inspiring author Phan Việt, sharing with us and students the topic “Global Lessons, Local Strength: Resilience and Essential Skills for Today’s Students”. After her talk, there will be a panel discussion where students can ask questions and share their thoughts.
🎨 Handmade workshop: Join our interesting workshops and score some awesome gifts.
