Bookfi is one of the most popular multi-lingual online libraries in the world. It has more than 2,230,000 books. Bookfi aims to increase the number of books and quality of service.   Open Library

Open Library is a project of the non-profit Internet Archive, and has been funded in part by a grant from the California State Library and the Kahle/Austin Foundation. To date, the project have gathered over 20 million records from a variety of large catalogs as well as single contributions, with more on the way.  There are over 1,000,000 free ebook titles available. HathiTrust Digital Library is a digital preservation repository and highly functional access platform. It provides long-term preservation and access services for public domain and in copyright content from a variety of sources, including Google, the Internet Archive, Microsoft, and in-house partner institution initiatives. The partners ensure the reliability and efficiency of the digital library by relying on community standards and best practices, developing policies and procedures to manage content and services at scale, and maintaining a modular, open infrastructure.   Directory of Open Access Books

The primary aim of DOAB is to increase discoverability of Open Access books. Academic publishers are invited to provide metadata of their Open Access books to DOAB. Metadata will be harvestable in order to maximize dissemination, visibility and impact. Aggregators can integrate the records in their commercial services and libraries can integrate the directory into their online catalogues, helping scholars and students to discover the books. The directory is open to all publishers who publish academic, peer reviewed books in Open Access and should contain as many books as possible, provided that these publications are in Open Access and meet academic standards. Project Gutenberg offers over 50,000 free ebooks: choose among free epub books, free kindle books, download them or read them online. Project Gutenberg carries high quality ebooks: the ebooks were previously published by bona fide publishers. The books are digitized and diligently proofread with the help of thousands of volunteers.
